The present book is written by Vladimir Medinsky, the former Minister of Culture of Russia, and is from the collection of books "Myths about Russia".  The translation of the book, entitled "Who and When Made a Legend for Russia," is one of the first books in the series that aims to show another angle of the history and culture of the great northern neighbor. The history and culture, that for some reasons similar to what has happened in other parts of the world, have not been properly introduced in Iran.
The translation of this work was done in collaboration with a group of translators including Maryam Qadianlou, Sara Soleimani, Roghayeh Keramatinia and Mohsen Beigi under the supervision of Farzaneh Shafiei. The book has been published by Hoda Publications in a limited number and cannot be purchased.
We hope that in the near future, by republishing this book and uploading the file on the site, we will be able to provide an opportunity for those who are interested to get acquainted with the content of the book.
